How to Use QuickStock Inventory Tracker

Follow this guide to understand the basic workflow and functions available in QuickStock Inventory Tracker.

Getting Started

Follow the steps below to start using QuickStock.

1. Register an Account

New staff members can register an account through the QuickStock registration page.

Enter your registered username and password to access the QuickStock system.

3. Access Dashboard

After successful login, users can access the functions available according to their assigned role.

Log In to QuickStock

Open the QuickStock login page and enter the username and password associated with your registered account.

  • Enter your username.
  • Enter your password.
  • Select the Log In button.
  • The system verifies the account details before allowing access.

Access the Dashboard

The dashboard provides an overview of the inventory system and allows authorized users to access different system functions.

  • View inventory summaries.
  • Monitor stock information.
  • Access inventory management functions.
  • Access reports and other authorized functions.

Manage Inventory

Authorized users can manage product records through the inventory management section.

  • View existing products.
  • Add new products.
  • Update product information.
  • Remove products when necessary.
  • Monitor current stock quantities.

Scan Product Barcode

QuickStock provides barcode scanning to help users identify products more efficiently during inventory activities.

  • Open the barcode scanner.
  • Allow camera access when requested.
  • Position the product barcode inside the scanner area.
  • Wait for the barcode to be detected.
  • The system can use the detected barcode to identify the corresponding product.
Make sure your camera is available and permitted by the browser before using the scanner.

Record Stock In

When new products are received, staff can record the stock-in transaction to update the inventory quantity.

  • Select the relevant product.
  • Enter or select the quantity received.
  • Confirm the stock-in transaction.
  • The system updates the inventory quantity.

Record Stock Out

When products are sold or removed from inventory, staff can record the stock-out transaction.

  • Select the required product.
  • Enter the quantity removed.
  • Confirm the transaction.
  • The system deducts the quantity from the available stock.
Stock-out quantity should not exceed the available inventory quantity.

Monitor Inventory

Users can monitor inventory information to identify stock conditions and products that may require attention.

  • Check current stock quantities.
  • Identify low-stock products.
  • Review inventory updates.
  • Monitor product availability.

View Reports

Authorized users can access reports to review inventory activities and system information.

  • Review stock movements.
  • Review inventory information.
  • Analyze inventory activities.
  • Use reports to support inventory decisions.

Logout Safely

Always log out after completing inventory activities, especially when using a shared computer.

  • Select the Logout option.
  • The system ends the current session.
  • Return to the login page.

Do not share your QuickStock username or password with other users.

Accurate Information

Always check product and quantity information before confirming inventory transactions.

Scanner Access

Allow browser camera permission when using the barcode scanner.
